Last night she slept better. Maybe just typing out the post helped?
She went to bed after a 20-minute fight, and roused about 30 minutes later. Daddy soothed her by patting and shushing, and I didn't even go up -- and it actually worked. She went back to sleep and slept until 11pm (so from 7:20 - 11 was one stretch). She came to bed and I nursed her, and she slept solidly until 1:45 when she nursed, needed a diaper change, and then nursed again and around 2:30 she settled back down (she was asleep but restless) and didn't wake up until 6am when she poo-ed. We're up for the day now.
So I slept from 10:30 to 11, then from 11:30 to 1:30 (3 hours), and then from about 2:45 - 6 (3 hours 15 minutes). I feel better today than I have in a while. Let's cross our fingers I get at least one more night like this.
Gosh thats tough...........im not sure I could survive without sleep.......the sacrificing mothers will do for their babies..........its sad we have no recollection of it when we grow......
